Smaller vessels don’t always leave a lot of room for a boat name. Outboard engine wells are a popular location if visibility from a distance is not critical. Another great location for a mid size boat name is on the sides of the boat. Designing a name for the side of a boat has it’s own challenges which I discuss in this blog post. I am fully equipped to install names on boats that are on cradle lifts or in the water. Check out some of my boat name designs below. When you are done browsing, head over to my boat lettering information page for pricing and scheduling.
The Signmobile, is equipped to create and and prepare vinyl at your boat's location. This allows me to do final measurements onsite before cutting your boat lettering.

There's no substitute for patience and having the right tools when removing old vinyl lettering. Very old lettering can become brittle and very challenging to remove. My removal technique has been honed over the years and we will strip the vinyl and adhesive from your hull without damaging the gelcoat. Painted boat names can be removed with wet sanding and polishing. In some cases, a solvent may also be used.
